An iconic brand of the 2000s, Dark Dog was the leader in the energy drinks market in France before the arrival of Red Bull and Monster on the scene. Over 20 years, the brand gradually lost its luster – as well as its connection with a young and festive target audience. 

By diving into the quirky and offbeat DNA of the brand, as embodied by its emblem, the teams awakened Dark Dog through a 360-degree creative concept that unfolds notably on social media and the website… and, of course, on the packaging!

To reclaim its place in the spotlight, Dark Dog needed to unleash an explosion of energy! The challenge given to Megusta: reinvent the legendary cans to make them ultra-trendy while energizing the product line on the shelves with exciting limited editions.

The agency designed four revolutionary “2-in-1” cans. Each features a generic side of Dark Dog, where the original historical markers (emblem and logo) are more visible and assertive than ever, while the other side boasts a bold limited-edition illustration.

Available in 25cl and 50cl formats, these original creations reflect the brand’s crazy and irreverent side. Everyone finds their mood and favorite can, and for the first time in a long while, sales are on the rise!
